Corrosion of the embedded steel is one main degradation problems limiting service life reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures. A model able to provide approximate predictions evolution cracking process can be useful for designing accelerated corrosion tests cement mortar or specimens. An electrochemical has been used describing inner displacements strains caused by accumulation products around rebar during electrically specimens with simple geometries.
